Every year, Buena Park, Calif’s Knott’s Berry Farm transforms into Knott’s Scary Farm, a nighttime fright fest featuring eerie mazes, masked creatures and spooky shows. My sister and I have gone every October for the past few years, and made our 2012 appearance last Friday night. Since this is Knott’s 40th Haunt, the park had a few extra-special tricks and treats. Here is a photo diary of some of my highlights of the night:

In Pinocchio Unstrung, our first maze of the night, the beloved puppet and his friends return to the workshop with less-than-friendly intentions: kill their former masters to obtain human flesh and cover their own wooden bodies…
