Over Labor Day weekend, my boyfriend and I hosted two friends from Philadelphia who had previously spent little to no time in L.A. That presented us with quite the challenge since this city is full of so many wonderful neighborhoods and things to see and do. Fortunately, this wasn’t our first rodeo, and we had an awesome itinerary mapped out by the time they arrived on Friday afternoon. It’s been a whirlwind 72 hours, but here’s a photo diary of some of our L.A. explorations over the past three days…
Dinner at Mercado in Santa Monica
Views of the Hollywood sign and downtown from the Griffith Observatory in Griffith Park
A hike to Sandstone Peak in the Santa Monica Mountains
Putting our feet in the Pacific at El Matador State Beach in Malibu
A visit to Third Street Promenade and the Santa Monica Pier
I want to hear from you! What are your favorite places to take visitors in L.A.?
